Mikael joined Amrop in January 2014. He has spent more than 25 years in the Banking Sector including 7 years abroad. As Partners in Executive and Specialist Search Mikael focusses on Financial Services and Real Estate. Mikael is known for his insight into the Financial Services and Real Estate sectors and for his professional approach to the leadership challenges within these industries.

Throughout Mikael's career he has held the following key management positions: Head of Private Banking Nordics at Credit Suisse, Head of the Retail and Corporate Banking, Western Region at Swedbank, Head of Swedbank Group Treasury, Head of Swedbank Foreign Exchange and Deputy Head of Trading at Handelsbanken New York.

Mikael has a MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science from Pepperdine University in the USA.
