Matej Mrak is a Partner with Amrop in Slovenia.

Matej is an experienced executive search professional who has completed over 250 searches across all industries, predominantly in the Consumer goods and retail, Life Sciences, Technology and digital, Industrial and PE segments across the Adriatic and CEE regions Delivered strategic insights through multiple Leadership Advisory engagements.

His expertise spans over 20 years of cross-border talent acquisition, developing HR and talent management strategies, and performance management and compensation benefits systems.

Earlier in his career, Matej held several senior HR leadership positions within multinational companies, including Microsoft and Studio Moderna.

Matej holds a B.A. in Sociology – Human Resources, and is currently completing his master’s studies in Human Resources at the University of Ljubljana, Department of Social Sciences.

In addition to his native Slovene, he speaks fluent Croatian, Serbian and English, has a good knowledge of German and an understanding of Italian and Czech.
