Matej joined the firm as a Partner in 2019 and brought over 15 years of entrepreneurial, operations, and business development experience. Matej leads the Slovak consulting platform for Private clients, focusing on developing cooperation with the most recognised families of Slovak business, shareholders, private investors (Private Equity Executives), family investment groups (Family Offices) and top managers. He has also joined Amrop's global Digital Practice, where he looks forward to using his experience and knowledge from this field to develop clients and cross-border business for Amrop.

In 2010 Matej joined the executive team of RMS Mezzanine, the first mezzanine capital fund in CEE. Their primary goal was to define the mezzanine capital market and build the CEE's most influential mezzanine capital fund. Together with the executive team, his mission was to restructure the whole company holding and set it up as a proper mezzanine investment fund. He resigned from the executive team in 2012 but remained a member of the Supervisory Board until 2019.

He then accepted a new challenge as Chief Operations Officer working for one of the largest Call Centers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He was responsible for all operations and branches in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Romania and was accountable for the active and passive telephone campaigns.

In 2013, Matej joined the International Sales Organisation at IBM. This unique experience at Big Blue allowed him to understand the latest technology and its applications for clients in cloud, blockchain technology and artificial intelligence with Watson. As International Processes & Programs Executive, his role was to co-create a high-performance International organisation focusing on customer support for big global clients. He gained extensive experience in the international field, multicultural environment, and people management in this role. Matej's mission was to centralise the global support for International Clients. As a result, he increased the number of covered Global Accounts up to 28 with total revenue of hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition, he led the deployment of a worldwide platform for all global contracts at IBM with his team.

Matej's complex experience brings a view from the client's side, which will help us transform the way we work and deliver value for our clients. He focuses strongly on operation and client service B2C and B2B locally and internationally.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.
