Marcus Pokorny is a Partner at Amrop, based in Gothenburg. He executes assignments both nationally and internationally covering several business sectors. He is a member of Amrop's global Industrial Practice.

Marcus Pokorny entered the Executive Search industry in 1995 and has built an extensive track record in placing senior executives in strategic positions in all industries and sectors.

Between 2013 and 2019, Marcus worked at C-suite level for Korn Ferry International, as member of the Industrial Practice and the Supply Chain Practice.

In 2003 Marcus Pokorny founded and operated a search company specialized in marketing-related executive positions. The company merged with Signium in 2007. At Signium he was serving clients in the Industrial as well as the Consumer Industry in Sweden.

Before starting up his own business, Marcus Pokorny was Office Manager at TMP Hudson in Gothenburg.

Marcus Pokorny began his career as a Consultant at the Nordic based Sale Search focusing on marketing-related positions within the industry sector.

Marcus Pokorny graduated from Gothenburg School of Economics and Karl Franzens Universiteit in Graz, Austria.

Apart from his native Swedish he also speaks Danish and English fluently.
