Bill Borkovitz is a Partner at JM Search in the US, where he recruits C-Level executives across a range of industries, including financial services, business services, and technology. He brings over 20 years of operating experience combined with a decade of C-level executive recruiting to the firm.

Drawing on his operating experience, Bill intuitively assesses talent and organizational needs for his clients. His successful track record of identifying and aligning leaders with publicly traded and venture capital / private-equity backed organizations speaks volumes to his abilities and dedication to client service.

Bill joined JM Search in 2018 from Kaplan Partners, a boutique retained executive search firm, where he was a managing director focused on recruiting for private equity and growth-oriented financial services and technology companies.

Before joining Kaplan Partners in 2008, Bill was chief operating officer and served on the board of Financial Asset Management Systems, a private equity-backed receivables management company. Prior, Bill was executive vice president at Radian Guaranty and also held operating executive and management roles at Fidelity Investments, Caremark Rx, Citibank, and Dun and Bradstreet.

Bill is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Co-Chair of the M&A East Sponsorship Committee. He periodically consults for the Gerson-Lehrman Group, a global consulting firm.

He lives in St. Davids, PA with his wife and has two daughters. He is an avid road bicyclist logging thousands of miles per year.
